On Monday 7th October, we had the privilege of welcoming David Chapman, OBE, Founder of Rwanda Action, to Earlscliffe. David shared an inspiring presentation about the charity’s life-changing work, which our school has supported for several years. We were delighted to present him with a cheque for £3,318.43, raised by Earlscliffe students and staff. 👏
Rwanda Action empowers communities by building knowledge and skills that create sustainable futures. Through carefully designed pilot projects, the charity supports long-term development in Rwanda, working closely with teams in both Rwanda and the UK to ensure efficiency and transparency.
Earlscliffe are proud to announce that Interact will now be the main charity arm of our school, and we are excited to continue our partnership with the local Channel Rotary Club. The students have elected to continue to support Rwanda Action as their desingated charity, alongside other good causes.

Our students will also be celebrating World Interact Week from 4th – 10th November, and we’ll keep you posted on all their fundraising efforts! Stay tuned!
