Michaelmas Term Newsletter

We welcomed our biggest-ever cohort of new students to Earlscliffe in September 2022.We were also very excited to show the students the new boarding house. It has proven to be a very popular choice – located only a few minutes walk from the sports centre and park.This year, our students arrived at a moment of particular historical importance, with the passing of Queen Elizabeth II on September 8th and the subsequent State Funeral. We marked the occasion with a small ceremony, planting a memorial tree outside our main building. A plaque has been installed with the names of our Head Teacher and our current Head Boy and Head Girl. We then enjoyed a quintessentially English afternoon tea with cake and scones and cucumber sandwiches.
